Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother. Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding was born in the year 2000. Her sisters are, Isabel and Jordan. The brother of her is Alex. Alex, Goulding's brother, is a bass player. Also, he is an Hereford musician. As a girl, her mother was encouraging her to get into music. She began learning to play the clarinet at age nine. In her 14th year when she began to write songs. But, she did not actually begin writing songs until the college period. Goulding began to become fascinated by electronic music as she was studying. Through MySpace she got in touch with producer Frankmusik and with his help she came up with her own version of folktronica. The singer was discovered at this period by the scout Jamie Lillywhite, who initially was her manager prior to changing to a position as A.&R. during a university talent competition. Lillywhite was later introduced to Starsmith, a music producer who assisted with the 15th of November, 2009 release of Under The Sheets. Crawford has three siblings, and is born of German English and French descent. Her senior year in high school when she first started modeling.
