Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood actor and writer whose talent has earned her recognition as well as critical praise. Sagittarius. The actress was born on the coast of North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest child from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne who is a psychology student. She's of English and Scottish origin. Moore's father was a mover often due to his job. It was hard for her to find and keep friendships. Moore was a stage actor during her time at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. Thesis in Theater. Moore started her theater career off Broadway and in New York, after she graduated. In 1985 she appeared on the screen as a character in The Edge of Night. In 1986, she played the dual characters that were Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). This became her biggest breakthrough. It ran through 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she was the first film actress to make her debut on cinema in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later described as an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. Her role in critically acclaimed Short Cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore got her first role as the lead role on the screen in Safe (1996). The actress' career reached a turning point as Steven Spielberg cast her to star in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of the top-grossing films in 1997. The year 1999 was the first time she was awarded the SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Other films Moore starred in includes The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) etc. Non-Stop was her 2014 film. Moore has appeared in countless films and television programs. In the most recent, she appeared as the lead character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). She has made her mark in Hollywood and also as an author of children's books. Her debut book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and was a bestseller on the The New York Times. bestseller, which led to it being adapted into a novel and musical. In 2013, she published her book My Mom Is A Foreigner. Moore's personal life has been made public as a highly accomplished author and actor. She was married to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two children together. Moore's world revolves around her families, work and friends.
